An Eternal Weight of Glory

2CO 4:16-18

This affliction,
this pain,
will not last forever.

And the very affliction you suffer is itself productive.

ROM 5:1-5

Nothing is wasted
with God.

Phi1:6

His plan includes suffering. His work continues through our suffering.

1PE 5:10

Christmas is all about light breaking through the darkness.

ISA 9:2

The newborn Savior, the Light of the Word, has come.

2CO 4:1-6

This is the connection between
1Co 4
and Christmas.

The Light shines out of darkness.

GEN 1:1-5

The same God who said “let there be light” has now shown in our hearts.

The Light in our hearts is the gospel of the glory of Christ.

JOH 1:1-5

His life is the Light of men. His life is ours, forever.

We are the vessels that God has chosen to give this light.

This light is the knowledge of the very glory of God in the Person of Christ.

Christ is in us, the hope - the guarantee - of the most astounding glory of all!

COL 1:26-27

And we exult in hope - confident expectation - of the glory of God. (Romans 5:2)

God changes tribulations into the hope that does not disappoint.

For the joy of this treasure, Jesus endured the cross.
