You have been called to inhabit your very own spiritual horizon

Therefore, all of this mental effort is of no real benefit if it is not going to contribute to an inward life with God resulting in this peace that goes beyond human comprehension.

EPH 1:18
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

It does not refer to the call of God at salvation, which is an invitation, but the calling of God upon our lives after salvation, which is a vocation.

2PE 1:10
Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things [principles of virtue in verses 5-7], you will never stumble;

“diligent” is the aor-act-imp of the verb spoudazo = to study; to be serious about something, being busy at doing something, paying attention to something, being zealous and eager.

However, the most common meaning of spoudazo is "to do one’s best."

“diligent” is the aor-act-imp of the verb spoudazo = to study; to be serious about something, being busy at doing something, paying attention to something, being zealous and eager.

The motivation comes from being "aware" of the PPOG, the angelic conflict, the distribution of your fantastic blessings, and the opportunity to have the most fantastic life in time, etc.

"make" is a pres-mid-inf of the verb is poieo which is verb to do, to make, to produce, to work, to accomplish, to perform.

COL 2:6

but rather by means of good works, as befits women making a claim to spirituality.

1CO 15:58

EPH 4:12
for the equipping of the saints for the work of service,

COL 1:10
so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

2TI 2:21
Therefore, if a man cleanses himself from these things [cosmic involvement], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

TIT 1:16
They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient, and worthless for any good deed.

TIT 2:14

TIT 3:14
And let our people also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, that they may not be unfruitful.
